Welcome

I've made this site to show you how to make Xanga Layouts! Some people act like it's some professional thing, but it's really not that hard. All you need are the right resources. So I'll give you some steps to making layouts!

Questions or comments? Leave them here.

Step One
Finding Stylesheets

Somewhere along the way, you're gonna have to learn about stylesheets. Stylesheets are how the layout is set up. I have six stylesheets that I use. Most of them I've made, but if I didn't make it, the credit is on the page. Take a while to look around at them. Feel free to use them, but if you don't change them enough, it's considered jocking.

Stylesheet 1 --> [xx]
Stylesheet 2 --> [xx]
Stylesheet 3 --> [xx]
Stylesheet 4 --> [xx]
Stylesheet 5 --> [xx]
Stylesheet 6 --> [xx]

Now, all you have to do is change the colors and put pretty pictures on 'em! Look around at the codes for a while until you sort of get the hang of understanding what it means. Pretty much you can change the borders to the same ones that are in your Look and Feel.

Once you're ready, you can move on.

Step Two
Color Codes

Alright, so you're going to need some color codes... Pretty much all you can do is go to different sites... So here are some.

All_Colorcodes
Webmonkey
Hex Hub
W3schools
IconBAZAAR
Web Design Group
December
SuperColorChart
Web Color Reference
Color Wheel

Now all you need to do is take the color codes you find on there, and put them into the code!

Step Three
Graphics

Graphics are one of the things that make layouts completely original and creative. Now, in order to make good graphics, you're gonna need a good paint program... MSpaint isn't good enough... I think we can all agree on that one. And I know we're not all rich enough to buy PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro, so there's an alternative! It may not be as good, but it's way better than MSpaint! It's... *drum roll* GIMP!! To Download GIMP, go to www.gimp.org it'll really help you with your site!

Otherwise, you can go to some of these sites...

Graphics_Lover
Miniseries
Createblog
Awwsugar_Goodies
SRL_Photography
graphicsforsquares
ohsorad_graphics
flippydippy_backgrounds

enjoy!

Step Four
Extra Codes

Now, if you only use what I've given you, your layouts will be a little boring! Try using some extra codes! A lot of people have code sites, so here we go!
